It all started 2years back, when I’d met Adriana (virtually) through an IT job posting, which she had listed for the staffing agency she works for. Though I wasn’t successful in nailing that gig, I ended up becoming a good friend of Adriana, specially because of my attempts to impress her with my broken Spanish and also our similar interests in art and Latin dance :). After a year or so during a random conversation I happened to mention to her about my Wedding Photography business which was really intrigued her. She was like OMG perfect timing, I am getting married in November 09… and there you go we met in person for the first time and after talking to her man Aldo, Voila… she booked me :)!

Our engagement session from my previous posting was so much fun, its when I first met Aldo. Trust me, these guys are hilarious and were so much fun to work with!

The wedding was a traditional Latin wedding and the reception was a rock on with mucho musica, bailar, bebidas y comida, one can’t ask for me, especially me. I even overcame a bunch of my favs songs including the Andrea Bocelli’s – Besame Mucho, which Adraina sang herself as a surprise for Aldo, it made him speechless in love :)!!

Last but not the least a big THANKS to my good friend and associate Liem Nguyen who did a fab job in helping me out here, thank you buddie!

Adriana is an amazingggggg artist, which is also her major at college. Below is one of her masterpieces and an out of the box idea to display the table cards. I really envy her for this!

Had I mentioned Adriana & Aldo were amazing dancers as well, Adriana is a Salsa instructor herself at a dance school in Hayward, now that’s what I called MULTI TALTENT. They actually had a plan of performing at the reception which didn’t happen due to Aldo’s last minute cold feet… :)

Adriana + Aldo :: Engagement

Adriana & Aldo’s engagement session was a fun filled session and probably one my longest as well close to 6+hrs. :) Hope you’ll would remember them from their teaser I’d posted weeks earlier.

We’d initially planned to get their session done in SFO, but we couldn’t resist the greenery of Piedmont. Fortunately we were still lucky to make it to the city around dusk with the perfect sunset. I am still surprised to see how they look really calm & smiling in the pictures, though it was freezing out there. Thanks guys, you were so cooperative and amazing to work with, I had a blast!

Lyzett & Sebastian were an adorable, humble & fun loving couple and it was an honor for me to be a part of their special day. Thanks to Melinda for making this happen. This is my second wedding I am second shooting for Melinda, and it has always been a fun and exciting experience working with her. :)

Their wedding took place at the historically beautiful “Carmel Mission Basilica” at Carmel, CA. This is my first time here but this has become one of my fav spots which I would frequent often!

I recently had an opportunity to work with Renee Allen an amazing photographer from SFO, working with her at this wedding made it such a fun & memorable experience. The location was the gorgeous “Calistoga Ranch” at Calistoga, CA, one can’t ask for a better location around this area than this. Adding to all this Dory & John were such a gorgeous couple and were so pleasing to work with. These are some of the highlights, please enjoy & feel free to comment!

The ceremony was on a cliff which was surrounded by water on either sides which in turn were surrounded by mountains, though this made access for photographers challenging we were still able to get some really great angles.

The Mukherjee’s :: Family Portraits

Meet the Mukherjee’s (Suman, Shashu & their cutie pie Olivia), my dearest friends who are close to my heart! Suman and I have known each other for the past 5years. We used to work together for VISA in Austin, TX, but we seldom knew for the longest time that we both shared the same interests OUTDOORS…starting from camping, fishing, BBQ, beer and of course Photography. He was the first person who initiated my baby steps with cameras. I had a Canon rebel XT back then (just because I wanted to look sophisticated) but never cared to explore the capabilities of an SLR except for the “Auto” mode and the “P-professional” mode LOL!

A couple of years ago I moved to the bay area to work for PayPal, then got married and settled here, so did he almost around the same time frame, in the hopes of enjoying the same single life fun, but things were differed after getting married… we forgot about the quality time part of married life LOL. Now Shashu and Stella are really thick friends as well. The Mukherjee’s were blessed with a CUTE daughter “Olivia” the next year, since then I’ve been documenting her, its been almost a year now so thought I’d finally reveal these pics officially to them, it was fun recapping all those memories. I always wanted to do something special for them and I owe Suman & Shash more than this, it wasn’t for Suman I wouldn’t have discovered my passion for Photography.

P.S. I never returned one of his 580exii which I borrowed 2 years ago, my first pro speedlite (friendship is more than that….come on….LOL).

Thanks for being there for us guys and we love you. BTW Olivia wont be alone too long, Stella and I are getting her a companion soon LOL! :)

Natalie & Kenneth were a sweet, made for each other couple I met through Barbara from Ystudio Photography, and I was more than excited to second shoot for their wedding.This wedding was held at the Purple Orchid Inn, Livermore – CA. It rained all day but close to the time of the ceremony the weather turned out to be just perfect and made the location look its best. Nat and Ken were a hilarious and high energetic couple who were up for creativity and some out of the box ideas.

Noela + Savio = Aidan :: Family Portraits

I was really excited to hear from Savio (a good friend/ex-colleague from PayPal) and Noela to capture their family portraits, after the new special addition to their family, Aidan! :).It’s always exciting to see newborns & the proud parents & it’s a privilege to take part in the family’s unforgettable moment. Aidan is 7month old during this session.

I’ve always seen Savio as a man of few words at work, but was shocked to see his goofy half of him jumping around & making funny faces to see his son smiling. It was such a fun session, though Aidan was not in his best mood he really co-operated. He was even puzzled to see a stranger with weird looking so called camera stalking him in his territory.

It was pretty easy to make these pictures look great as Noela & Savio have really worked HARD on the interiors, every detail/decor was carefully planned & executed. I loved Aidan’s room the most as it blended well with my BROWN branding.

By the end of the shoot Aidan was really tired and hated me LOL, so he took a nap break. Meanwhile we ended the shoot with some margaritas, murgh malai kebabs by Savio Flay & a mouth watering dinner by Iron Chef Noela :) …yummmyyy. One can definitely can’t ask for more, what a nice way of ending the day.

Wherever Aidan is smiling or looking comfortable its all because of this ‘Woman behind the scenes’ Vilma (Savio’s Mom), she had some high energy levels and really knew how to entertain her grandson. Big thanks to her! :)

I was big fan of Aidan’s spiked hair, I first assumed he was all gelled for the photo shoot, only later did I come to know that all babies with straight hair have this cool kick start with their hairstyle ( so did my wife it seems LOL….).

We actually did the session is two separate days so as to accommodate a lil outdoor session at this church where Aidan was baptized.

Kelly & Paul’s wedding was probably my first beach wedding experience! Their special day was at Jenner, CA. The ceremony took place at the Pacific view bluff, such a beautiful sight facing the ocean and the weather was just right! This couple had planned a lot extra time for some casual portraits and prep. Nothing was rushed at any point which gave a lot added room for some extra creativity!

Long awaited Rebranding!
